It's over, the end has arrived and with it I have to say goodbye to my portfolio. During this two years I've learnt a lot of things and is because of it I want to do a little reflection.
Firstly I can see an improvement from September 2006 (this portfolio isn't the same than last year portfolio. For example in the first entry of my old portfolio (www.laiasportfolio.blogspot.com), now I can see mistakes as "In my opinion, do another blog" and now I would put "doing another blog". Also, I repeated a lot of words and the vocabulary was basic, I hadn't synonyms. Now I have more resources I've learnt firstly with grammar exercises and after doing compositions to write good texts.
In my opinion, I can show my best level of English in my compositions, because I really love writing and also I have a lot of practice. Now I know how to use linkers, the correct verbs, and the structure of each type of text... Thanks blog now I can write easily and fast, I think it has been the most useful activity. On the other hand, the less useful activities I think have been moodle tutorials and photocopies, because all that we do in moodle we can do it in our blog, and I think it's better.
The activities I've really enjoyed are speaking in class and listening to songs, it's a good way to practice our grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation all together.
Finally, I want to say that I’ve really enjoyed English classes (although most of my mates don’t agree), because we have learnt by different ways and for me has been very useful. All that I haven’t learnt in ESO I have learnt, and now I like English, when before I hate it. I must say that your project for innovation has success for me, and I hope you carry on teaching by this way. Thanks!
